Happy Halloween

Hey, I hope that you are doing your best to avoid all of the treats that are around today. I wanted to introduce myself to you and give a bit of an overview on what our strict paleo month of November will entail so I shot a quick video. You may have to crank up the speakers, i was quiet talking to not wake up my kids. Next time I will put my back into it.

Here are the highlights of the video:

We will be eating lots of meats, seafood and eggs. This will be accompanied with as many vegetables as you can muster, and a bit of fruit. We will get our energy from good fats such as avocados, nuts and seeds. A good rule of thumb for food is the less ingredients, and the easier the words are to pronounce the better.

The foods to avoid will include all grains, including rice and quinoa. All legumes, including peanuts. All dairy, except for clarified butter or ghee.

Most importantly, we are avoiding all sugar and sugar substitutes for the month of November.

I know you can do this. You are awesome, and with a little planning, it will be just a matter of following the plan.
